Jesper Egemar has been working as a graphic designer and illustrator in Norway since the 1980s. He has designed posters, annual reports, magazines and brand identities for all kind of clients, and often for companys and institutions in the cultural sector. He has designed and illustrated numerous books and book covers for the major national publishing houses. His work has won gold and silver diplomas in The Most Beautiful Books of the Year Awards and the Visuelt Competition. Jesper Egemar is awarded the honourable National Book Artists Prize for his contribution to Norwegian book design in general. As associate professor he teaches graphic design and typography at NTNU – Norwegian University of Science and Technology and is a visiting lecturer at Westerdals Dept. of Creativity, Storytelling and Design / Kristiania University College in Oslo and The University of South-Eastern Norway (USN). Jesper Egemar is elected Honorary Member of Grafill, the Norwegian organisation for visual communication.
