The environmentalist Terje is pained by his shortcomings when it comes to interacting with the ones closest to him and he wrestles with the notion that his activism and efforts on a local scale just might be useless in the face of a global catastrophe. Begynnelser (Beginnings) is a gripping and extraordinary novel about choice, freedom and determinism.
