Ivo de Figueiredo Støv – En bok om Henrik Wergeland

Client: Aschehoug

In Norway's literary history, Henrik Wergeland is perhaps the foremost of the poets. In this book, young readers are invited into an exotic world, a life and writing from another time. The purpose is to update Henrik Wergeland for today's people. The book has been written specifically with young people in mind. The book is divided into three parts. The first is about Wergeland's life from birth to death. Part two deals with a selection of Wergeland's own poems, and the reader is invited to compare them with photographer Jo Michael's interpretations of Wergeland's subjects. In the third part, you will find a glossary that explains and elaborates on words and concepts related to Wergeland's time. The book is printed on two different types of paper and the three parts are like small text booklets inserted between glossy paper with photographs.
